Endodontics is the branch of
dentistry that deals with
diseases of the dental pulp and
the surrounding tissues of the
root.
Endodontists are specially
trained to restore health and
thereby save your teeth in a
functional situation. The
alternative treatment would be
extraction of the diseased
tooth.
Most of our procedures take
approximately one and a half
hours. Some procedures can be
completed in one appointment
while others require a follow-up
appointment. Each case is
unique and we base our treatment
plan on the most appropriate
procedure(s) for your long-term
dental health.
Our role as specialists is to
treat you for your endodontic
needs and to refer you back to
your dentist. Even though we
will relieve you of your
discomfort, your treatment is
not complete until you return to
your dentist for any necessary
restorative treatment.
